all summer and today was the day.

Heather is such an incredible person

and just so great with the kids;

it's nice to know that they are so loved

Lucas is 13 months and started

WALKING about 2 weeks ago!

He is SWEET and LAUGHS all of the time.

He LOVES:

He got tubes in his ears last week after finding out he had a small hearing loss,

he passed his hearing test

today with flying colors and

even said 2 words that he meant today,

"Daddddd" (Jeff's out of town)

and "Bye" (as he waved).

This is my last year with him

I just don't even know where the time went.

Tyler is a great sport,

he is a wonderful big brother,

he is always looking out for Cam and Luke.

she is always moving and it seems that

This little girl turns 3 next week,

VACATION!

We went to SAN DIEGO for 8 days and had a BLAST.

We did a lot of swimming, a lot of snuggling,

and lot of swimming, and a lot of loving.

LUCAS got to sleep in my arms A LOT

(he's dealing with major ear issues).

We got to see our JENNY WOLF!

(who is moving to Portland and we sure will

miss seeing her more often).

AND we got to see

MARCI, MIKE and their SWEET FAMILY!

spent a day at the WILD ANIMAL SAFARI PARK,

went to the beach...

and played until we were pooped!

It was a successful vacation and we are

SO THANKFUL that we could do it!

Luke is ONE!

My little baby is ONE YEAR OLD!

Luke turned one on Friday.

We spent the day all together and had a blast.

We had a little family party at Red Robin

and came home for cake and presents.

Lucas is THE SWEETEST LITTLE GUY and

we know that we are so lucky to have him.

His birthday was on Wednesday and

we spent the day

he likes to do.

We wrapped up the day

with a fun family party

at Chuck E Cheese.

We went to California for a wedding and got to spend some quality time together.

With all of the wedding madness, I don't have one single picture from that night with my

husband, which is a bummer,

but my mom took a few for us the next day.

Because my mother and her friend,

Kim are SO INCREDIBLE,

Jeff and I got to spend our

VERY FIRST NIGHT ALONE TOGETHER

since we had Tyler, back in 2007.

It was much needed and so much fun.

We tried to get a family picture...

but it just didn't happen...

Poor Luke had, what we now know

and are still fighting off,

the rotavirus and he was the only one who really even liked doing pictures ;)

The BIG KIDS were having too

much fun at Grandma's house.

They didn't want to stop

chasing lizards, turkeys, deer, or

any of the other wild life that live

all over their property.

At the wedding, Jeff managed to connect with

one of my very favorite families in the world

while I was off with the wedding party doing photos and other weddingish things.

THE BROWNS live on the street that I grew up on

and Jordan and I have know each other since we

were 5 years old. Jordan now lives in Texas

and he brought his 5 year old daughter, Kylie

out to visit his parents and to go to the

wedding. We popped over to their house and did

a quick shoot with all of them.

It was great to reconnect.

BEFORE the wedding, I drove out to California,

leaving my wonderful husband to take care of our little ones.

Needless to say, HE IS AMAZING.

He did a great job at home and flew alone

with all three of them to Sacramento.

He has earned major dad stripes

and deserves a diaper free day.

the rest of the trip consisted of car rides,

San Diego,Sea World, more car rides,

Luke VERY ILL and puking,

screaming children, laughing children,

tired children.

That was our 2 weeks in a nutshell.

Ever feel like you are living in some weird

universe where everything is chaotic and tears

come at the drop of a hat with laughter quickly to follow?

Ever feel like this is NOT what you imagined it to be like?

I felt like that this morning...

so I picked up the camera to REMEMBER what

that chaos was like... I know one day,

when my babies are older,

I really will cherish these memories.

So, for now I'll cry and rip my hair out...

but I'll enjoy it later ;)

for lessons that I can enjoy watching

with Luke in the air conditioned parent area.

The kids are getting big! Luke is crawling, eating a ton, laughing so much, and adoring his brother and sister. Tyler is passing through his swim classes like it's the easiest thing in the world, and Cameron is loving all things princess, riding her trike and playing at the park.

With the craziness of holiday travel, Jaime's flight from Sacramento was delayed and she missed her connections to New York... this gave her an 8 hour lay over in PHOENIX!

I picked her up from the airport and she came to our house for a bit and then we went to a new sushi restaurant that opened last night. We were so excited to see her!!!

and is still talking about them :).

Christmas 2010

Christmas was so fun this year.

The kids really understood that Santa was going to come

if they were good.

from the Grandparents and Santa

and some books from Mom & Dad.

Emily, who has been part of my family

The BRAVE WOMAN drove 15 hours

from California to Arizona

with the kids and myself and staid for a few days.

We took a VERY LAST MINUTE trip to California

to visit my parents and enjoy a little bit of fall.

My mom took the kids to Apple Hill

for some pony rides, a hay maze,

some face painting and

feeding of the goats and chickens.

They had such a good time.

Cameron is STILL talking about riding her horsey.

It was sad to leave and come back to the 107 degree HEAT.

She is a pure joy to have

around and we adore her.

to DANCE DANCE DANCE,

likes to play with her friends,

and is doing great learning

how to use the potty.

In two years, she has taught me

patience,

how to LAUGH,

how to be an example to an impressionable girl,

how to enjoy making a mess!

We love her in all of her two year old glory

Today is a really sad day for me.

The dog that I found at the pound in Auburn

when I was 16 had to be put to sleep due to health issues.

She was FANTASTIC.

When I told Jen I was getting her she was ADAMANT

that I name her BILLIE... and I did.

Jen died a few months after we got her and Billie was

so comforting to everyone as visitors trickled

in and out of our house for months...

and when the visits stopped happening,

Billie was my very best friend.

I cried onto her head so many nights

when I missed my sister.

She was such a sweet girl.

She lived a great full life and gave us so much love.

She will be missed.

So, back when Jen was a

high school cheerleader,

that was a pretty big deal.

When they were graduating,

The Name Game

Picking a name for this next little person has been the hardest yet! Maybe because I am actually giving Jeff a voice on his own child this time ; )

Drum roll please...... LUKAS or LUCAS (we will call him LUKE) is our front runner right now. We are going to let it settle in and see how we feel. We'll keep you updated!

I had an ultrasound yesterday and things look wonderful. We were a little scared because last month it looked like the placenta was growing on my incision from my previous c-sections, which could cause all sorts of issues... well, it is not! This is wonderful news!

Our tentative delivery date is July 1st... we'll know for sure next month. Yay for sweet little boys! and little girls that have tempers like their mother :)

Just an Update:

Tyler is in UNDERWEAR!!! This has been a VERY LONG potty training process and he has been 100% at home for about 5 months but when we are out, especially in the car he goes in his pants... but he has been VERY SUCCESSFUL this past week and we are proud of him!!

Cameron will be 18 months in a couple of weeks and gets to start her gymnastics class! She LOVES suckers and her blanket. She loves to walk and not be carried. She is putting together sentences and is a real fireball. She loves cars and golf, not really into dolls :)

We adore her.

Baby Brummer is a BOY! I am 19 weeks and doing well. We are still nameless for the little man. Our frontrunners are: Trevor, Chase, and Nathan... any more suggestions?

I made Tyler a little video for his first day of preschool and it made me want to make one to document Cameron's life so far also!(Movies are so fun!)

There have been many firsts in the past 17 months, first teeth, first steps, first holidays, first words, first injuries, first trips, but nothing really beats the every day smiles. She is so full of life and has SO MUCH personality. She is no shy thing, darting into the arms of anyone who smiles at her, and oh does she love her big brother.

She is a cuddle bug and a thumb sucker and just a real joy to be around. I love everything about that little girl, she makes me a better person, and I am lucky to be her mom.

Tyler's First Day of Pre-School!

Tyler had his first day of pre-school today.

It's a fun class in our neighborhood called, "Boys will be Boys". It is adorable! He was so excited to go today, after visiting the open house yesterday, and when I picked him up he couldn't stop talking about what they did.

They learned about outer space and airplanes!!

I did tear up when I picked him up and he was SO THRILLED with himself.

He ran out the door and said, "HI MOM! I HAD FUN!" (which completely melted my heart) and showed me his craft and jumped up and down with it : ) I can't believe how fast time flies and he doesn't need mom for everything anymore.

What a blessing he is in my life.

Jeff was out of town for work and I took Tyler to

with some good friends on Saturday night.

He had the TIME OF HIS LIFE!

Little Camies is growing up so fast! She has lots of hair to do fun hairstyles with and a personality that is about twice as big as she is. She is a joy to be around and she is IN LOVE with her big brother.

A couple of weeks ago I ran the P.F. Chang's Rock n Roll Half Marathon from Phoenix to Tempe!

It was such a fun time and I did part of it with a really great friend.

I was 15 weeks pregnant and ran a time of 2:31... not bad :)

Christmas Morning

What a FUN day.

The kids woke up on Christmas morning and ran into our room where we snuggled for about 10 minutes and Tyler managed to give Jeff the WORST black eye I have ever seen.

We recovered from that and came downstairs to find that

SANTA HAD COME!!!

The rest of the day we ate snacks, played with toys, talked to family on the phone and on Skype.

It was wonderful, relaxing, and HILARIOUS.

Christmas is so much more fun as a parent of little ones than it was even as a kid getting all that fun stuff.

We feel like a really lucky family.

Our Christmas Eve was fun!

We spent the evening with some friends and then brought the kids home for baths and... a special guest...

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was fun and delicious. My parents and Drew came out for the event and the kids had the best time. My mom brought a little muppet that she found in Las Vegas and Cameron just goes crazy every time she sees it.

The kids always seemed to end up sitting next to Uncle Drew.

Trip to California

We went to California last week to experience REAL FALL. We went to one of my good friends, Katie Toffer's wedding and reception in Folsom, went to Chico to give away the annual Jen O'Hare Scholarship at Chico State, and had a wonderful time with my family and some old friends.

Jeff's parents and sister, Jamie came down to visit for Halloween. The kids had the greatest time with them. We went to Chuck E Cheese's, which Tyler tells us every day that he wants to go back to, Sprnkle's Cupcakes, Benihana, the Train Park, and just exhausted ourselves. Thank you guys for the fun visit, we miss you!

Do you ever feel like your kids are just growing up so fast? (Okay, we all do).

We wanted to get some new shots in of them this past weekend. Tyler wasn't thrilled because he wanted to run and play with all of the cool stuff around him but we did get some of Cameron loving the lens.

Cameron is 14-ish months and Tyler is 28-ish months.

We just got home from our neighborhood Halloween party!

The festivities have begun. Now it's parties and candy for the next week and then...maybe the DENTIST!!!

We went to Disneyland again and it was wonderful!!! 4 days of the park... about 28 hours total. The adventure culminated with Tyler vomiting all over Cameron and me on the ferris wheel at California Adventure. YAY for Mickey Mouse!

Tyler went the the Matterhorn about 7 times and called it "Scary".

What a GREAT trip!

One of Tyler's friends had a birthday yesterday and the kids went to the party while I took some photos for the family. The kids had the best time and Tyler was in awe of all of the cute girls.

My kids started gymnastics about 3 weeks ago and they can't get enough of it. YAY for fun, exercise, and great naps after!
