Been Tagged

Okay, April tagged me:

6 quirky things about me Lindsay Kristine Brummer (Jeff said he could list 30).
1. Hmmm... I really pronounce every letter in a word when I say it, mostly Ts, for example, the word MouTain or MainTenance.
2. I am a cray dish putter awayer. The dishwasher must be run before bed and I FREAK out if Jeff puts dishes in the sink in the morning because one of us hasn't unloaded the dishwasher yet.
3. I am all business when I get ready for the day, I like to do it fast and get it done, I don't like to talk to anyone during this time.
4. My counters and home are usually always very clean, but I stuff things into a junk drawer in the kitchen that drives Jeff up the wall.
5. I love to run around the house with Tyler while we make funny noises and then roll around on the floor; I get toys for him but like to play with some of them more than he does.
6. I LOVE television. I am crazy about it. I watch all sorts of lame shows like Gossip Girl, 90210, Law & Order, Criminal Minds... you name a DRAMA show and it's probably on my DVR. Jeff thinks it's so crazy that he will not agree to a TV in our bedroom, in fact, we removed the one we did have because i was always on. Now I don't just sit around watching TV all day... I just like to fast forward through shows when the kids are in bed : )
umm I tag...
Veronica, Marianne, Erin Graff, Auburn
your welcome.

ROLLING!!

Cameron has been trying so hard to roll from tummy to back. She has done it about 3 times but can't seem to do it whenever she wants to.

The POLAR Express

Okay, so we know it isn't even Thanksgiving yet, but our kids couldn't wait to see Santa this year, so we got special tickets to go on the Polar Express last night!
While I did take about 200 pictures of the weekend, I only posted a few for your sake : )
Tyler loved the train, all of the kids on it, the cookies and hot chocolate made using Mrs. Clauses' special recipe, and the Christmas lights.

The kids watched the Polar Express on DVD the whole way up to the hotel and we got them in their Christmas pajamas right before dinner. It was really fun. Tyler even made out with the cute little girl sitting right behind us, she saw him this morning at breakfast with a booger running down his face, so I think she's over it : )

We are really excited for the holidays this year and to see Tyler have so much fun; Cameron enjoyed the ride too, she stayed awake almost the whole time. Neither of the kids were afraid of Santa.

Cameron is so CUTE

Cameron has just melted our hearts lately. She is such a sweet little girl. She is also filling out pretty well (her cheeks are a testament to that)!

Tyler was HILARIOUS today.

Tyler was so funny this evening. He got in Cameron's swing, put the tray down and started rocking himself. He loved it and thought it was so funny.

After dinner Jeff was vacuuming the floor and Tyler wanted to be just like him so he grabbed his little vacuum and helped out.

My FIRST Pie

I made my first pumpkin pie last night... not that pretty, but pretty yummy!

SHARE the Air: a Plea to My Fellow Gym-ers

So, this morning I had my normal routine, I woke up at 5:00, got dressed for the gym, pumped milk for our friend's sweet little daughter Bela who is recovering from a rough first 8 months of life, then headed to Lifetime Fitness. I hopped on a treadmill, and though it was so hard to start cranking it up before the sun was even close rising, I did it. While I was sweating and kicking into mile 4 IT happened AGAIN!!! A man got on the machine next to me and started running... and BREATHING. For those of us who breathe through our noses when we run, respect the confined space between machines at the gym and the shared air in the building and BRUSH YOUR TEETH! This person had the worst breath for the third time this week, it smelled like a piece of dental floss after the first time of flossing when you skip 3 or 4 days! As he was panting through his mouth, molesting my beautiful air with his halitosis, I was about to vomit through my last mile... instead I switched to breathing through my mouth, which is just not right.

Here is my plea: while we all drag our butts to the gym in the wee hours of the morning, or any time of the day, think about respecting the space between you and other people who are dragging themselves there too. Just because you don't shower before you run doesn't mean you shouldn't brush your flipping teeth! SHARE the AIR people, we are all busting our buts to melt away the calories, let's look out for each other.

Get Out and Vote!

Okay, all of you that have time to read this blog today... you have time to go to the polls and VOTE!! This is such an important election (they all are)! It is your responsibility to use your voice. All of you women out there, people fought HARD for our opinions to count, don't let them down; don't be apathetic, if you don't care for yourself, care for your children, your grandchildren, keep democracy alive! We are so lucky to be able to have this day. No matter what your political opinion, I admire all of those who make their mark today.

Get going! Get out there! Get heard!

Sweet Little Kids

Cameron's Baby Blessing was beautiful and she was such a sweet heart, sleeping through the whole thing. Tyler is being such a great big brother and they are really starting to notice each other.

Ghostly Adventure

Jay, Jeff, the kids and I went to an old Ghost Town in the Superstition Mountains that Jeff and I saw after a morning hike. Tyler loved exploring all over the place! He is such a busy little guy.

Halloween

Grandma and Grandpa Brummer and Aunt Jamie came down to visit and got to spend Halloween with the kids. Jamie carved the pumpkin and Tyler thought about helping until he got distracted by the rest of the yard; he had a lot of fun.

Tyler Loving His Sister

Tyler is such a good big brother and is becoming so interested in playing with Cameron. He tries to share is toys and gives her kisses all day long.

CJ loves her Daddy

I got home from visiting with a friend after putting Tyler down for a nap and this is what I found...
