What a Cute Little Man!

Okay, update on Tyler. He is 7 and a half months old! He got both of his top teeth in at 6 months and started army crawling a little bit. He got two more teeth in today and crawls so fast I can't even keep up. He is so sweet; loves giving "kisses" he doesn't quite know how to pucker and he slimes his victims, he also loves to give hugs. Tyler learned to pull himself up last weekend when I heard him laughing and babbling up in his room and found him standing up in his crib! He is now never content and always trying to pull himself up on someone's leg or a chair. He is eating a TON! He loves new foods and is not picky at all, eats everything from oatmeal and fruit to mom and dad's chicken and potatoes.

Tyler has a bunch of big boy toys now. Grandma got him a bunch of fun things when we went to California, along with all of the fun toys that the Brummers sent from Utah and Idaho. Jeff and I got him a little basket ball hoop and other sports toy which he has been playing with the last few days. He LOVES tickle me Elmo the extra special edition, that is probably his favorite thing, along with his toy television remote control (what a boy).

We got these pictures done last weekend (7 mos) and think he looks SO CUTE!

WE DID IT!!!!

It was FUN, it was HARD, it was WORTH IT!!!
As I am sitting here tonight, with hurting knees and aching EVERYTHING, I just think, I can't wait to do it again. The Half-Marathon was amazing, the people were fun, and finishing was just life changing... I am hooked!

As I came around the last mile in Tempe I saw Jeff and Tyler running next to me, and my mom with her camera, I threw up my arms for a picture. The last half mile I felt like I had just achieved something wonderful; less than 1% of the world has run a long distance event, a pretty cool feeling crossing that finish line.

Thanks again to all of my friends and family!

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE RUN

Well, this is it everyone, I am tucked into bed, just blogging away the hours until I run my first half marathon! I am really excited. My mom flew into town this afternoon and she, Jeff, Tyler and I went downtown to the health and fitness expo and checked out all of the awesome running stuff, then onto the Team in Training Pasta Party.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of my family and friends who have been so supportive of the endeavor. Thank you to all of those who have donated as well. It has been so appreciated. At the Pasta Party there was a moment when those who have had or are fighting leukemia or lymphoma stood up and it was just so amazing to know how far medicine has come in the last 20 years to help these diseases.

I have each of you in mind that have taken the opportunity to donate and I appreciate it so much. It is not too late to donate if you would like to, I wil be accepting donations for the next couple of weeks.

I am so excited for tomorrow, my mom, Jeff, and Tyler will be cheering me on in Tempe when I finish and there will be nothing better for me to see than those guys.

2007

It's been a while since I posted anything, Tyler is crawling and he, along with my running, has been keeping me very busy.

For Christmas we went to California to visit my Family. We had a great dinner with the Pfosts (my Mom's side) in Placerville and spent Christmas day with the O'Hares in San Jose. I also had the chance to visit Kellie "Tough" Zumot and her daughter Bella, and my friend Emily and her family. It was so great to see everyone.
